Cyber Law and Business Report, which broadcasts live from Santa Monica,has invited the seven leading candidates for the 33rd Congressional District (which is now open due to the retirement of Henry Waxman) to take the 10+10 challenge and answer an issue questionnaire and agree to do a 10-minute interview.
The answers provided will be posted on SiliconBeachDebates.com and on this blog. Interviews will be aired on Wednesday May 14th at 10AM and Wednesday May 21st. Interviews will be conducted by show host, Bennet Kelley, the founder of the Internet Law Center in Santa Monica and an award-winning political columnist.
The seven candidates are Elan Carr, James Graf, Wendy Greuel, David Kanuth, Ted Lieu, Matt Miller and Marianne Williamson.
The ten issues are NSA Reform, Net Neutrality, Cyber Security, ICANN, Patent Reform, Do Not Track, TPP Fast Track, Online gambling, Startup Act 3.0 and the Marketplace Fairness Act. Each of the 7 were also asked their view on the Voting Rights Amendment Act to restore Justice Department pre-clearance review of election law changes in areas where there has been a history of voter suppression.
