Segment 2: Remembering Tucson’s Day of Terror
January 8th marks the 3rd anniversary of the attempted assassination of Gabby Giffords. It is a day I will never forget.
Gabby’s office had been shot at only a few months earlier, so I was not surprised when I heard the news.
I know Gabby and consider her a friend, what is tragic about this event is not just that it occurred but how little has changed since then.
How many more shootings will occur before the next anniversary?
