ISSA is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security professionals and practitioners. It provides educational forums, publications, and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill, and professional growth of its members. 

The primary goal of the ISSA is to promote management practices that will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information resources. The ISSA facilitates interaction and education to create a more successful environment for global information systems security and for the professionals involved. Members include practitioners at all levels of the security field in a broad range of industries such as comISmunications, education, healthcare, manufacturing, financial, and government.

WHAT:   ISSA-OC 28th Annual Security Symposium

ISSA-Orange County, one of the many worldwide ISSA Chapters, invited CLBR to broadcast and participate in its 38th Annual Security Symposium.

Listeners may be familiar with Stan Stahl, head of the ISSA-LA chapter, who has been on CLBR a number of times to discuss Cyber Security.

Long Beach is California’s 7th largest city (behind Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose, San Francisco, Sacramento and Fresno).  It boasts the country’s second busiest port and attractions such as the Queen Mary, the Long Beach Grand Prix and the Aquarium of the Pacific.
