Andréa R. Vaucher

Andréa R. Vaucher writes about travel, food, style, fashion, design, arts and architecture for the International Herald Tribune (NYTimes Global Edition), The New York Times, the LA Times, the Huffington Post and other international publications.

Previously, Ms. Vaucher was an arts and entertainment reporter and editor for over two decades. She began as a film critic at the LA Weekly, was a founding editor of Venice Magazine and was one of the original editors of, the first on-line travel magazine.

From 2001-05, Ms. Vaucher was the Paris bureau chief and European correspondent for Variety.

Ms. Vaucher is the author of Muses from Chaos and Ash: AIDS, Artists and Art (Grove Press, 1993), the first book to explore the effect of the AIDS crisis on the international art community.  Ms. Vaucher has a B.A. in film production and an M.A. in cinema studies from N.Y.U. Film School, where she studied with Martin Scorsese.  She is fluent in English and French and also speaks Italian and Spanish.  She is presently based in Los Angeles, California.

Benét J. Wilson is the social media/newsletters editor for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
