Engine’s Michael McGeary and Startup Day on Capitol Hill

mikeOur special Baseball Opening Day edition’s “lead off hitter”, Michael McGeary, is a true baseball fan as evident by his bio:

Having grown up in Boston, Mike fights a constant internal struggle between his love of the Boston Red Sox and the San Francisco Giants — a battle which is tempered by an all-consuming hatred of every New York sports team. Mike previously worked with Silicon Valley startup TuneIn as their social brand ambassador, and did stints with two Presidential campaigns. He is also a co-founder and Chief Political Strategist of Engine Advocacy, a working group of people in the startup community that connects entrepreneurs with government to effect change on issues important to high-growth entrepreneurial tech businesses. A Gloucester, Massachusetts native, he holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Tufts University, and resides with his wife, Sarah, in San Francisco.

Mike talks about Engine‘s second annual StartUp Day on Capitol Hill.
